For an investment of £30,000 you will acquire 100 elite tissue culture teak trees planted in 2004 under the strict forestry management guidelines, using tissue culture teak plants created in the laboratories by world tissue culture experts.

Historically Teak has increased at an average of 6.5% year on year over the past 10 years and applying this rate delivers returns in excess of £158,000 over a straight 10 year period.

For those clients who wish for a greater degree of liquidity in their portfolio we have managed to negotiate an earlier exit strategy where investors can at any time, chose to harvest some or all of their stock from September 2016 up to the final delivery date in September 2021.

Our partners use leading edge technology and superior forestry standards to ensure that our client’s trees are grown for the optimum result.  These standards are not cheap to achieve but they do produce the best results.

Most teak plantations are grown from seed. When using seeds the saplings are susceptible to pest and disease and have a high mortality rate. Therefore, the plantation managers have to plant lots of saplings close together and then thin out the trees every few years. This cheap method produces a variable crop of low grade timber. And be aware, the trees that are thinned out are your trees so the final yield of mature trees from the number of saplings you originally invested in may be as low as 25%.
