Throughout Morocco there are coin-operated and card-operated telephones are found in railway and bus stations, cafés and other public places. You can make calls to overseas from public telephones if you have enough coins. Direct-dial service covers the entire country. In the post office (PTT) there is normally a separate wing handling telecommunications.

The postal system is efficient. The post office (PPT) sell stamps and the main post offices are open from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; Fridays it's 8 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6.30 p.m.

There are 35 TV stations in Morocco. Moroccan television has news in Arabic and French however it is possible to view some programs in English, German and Italian. Moroccan papers are published in Arabic, French and Spanish. You are able to buy British and European newspapers and the International Herald Tribune at news kiosks all throughout the city.
