The massifs of the Rif, Middle and High Atlas mountains are ideal for cross country skiing.
Golf lovers will be in paradise in Morocco. There are excellent golf courses in Rabat, while Agadir has three courses.
Morocco offers excellent shopping with plenty of markets on weekends and even during the week. For those who love to pick up great bargains and nick knacks you’ll be in paradise in the markets in Morocco. There’s an abundance of different stalls with different goods at great prices.
Morocco has two calendars; one is the standard Gregorian model of 365 days as well as the Muslim year, which is 11 days shorter. New Year's Day, a national holiday always falls on January 1, but religious holidays follow a different rhythm. Consequently there's no such thing as a religious holiday that always occurs at a certain season.
