An Italian Idyll

Casa Serafini was formerly the ancestral home of the Serafini family, winemakers, politicians and warriors from Le Marche, whose emblem of three grim-faced seraphs still stands guard over the main entrance door today.

The property has been in the Serafini family for many generations with the last building completed in 1876 before the more recent renovations. There are many original sculptures remaining in the grounds including General Bernadino Serafini, the most famous son who commanded the unit which took control of Rome in the battle which led to the unification of Italy.

Authentic Italian Living

Comprising one, two and three bedroom properties ranging from 80 m2 to 211 m2, Casa Serafini presents a sublime blend of traditional and historical features and modern design. Each unit is unique with some building work dating from the 15th century, vaulted ceilings, spiral and wooden staircases, rustic brick archways and historical tavernetta features. Traditional materials have been used whenever possible, such as natural stone, brick with plaster to give an ‘a frattazzo’ finish and terracotta tiles to the floors.
