Train

All the major town in Egypt are connected by rail so it is very easy to explore other parts of Egypt once arriving in the country. The services are frequent and efficient making internal travel easy and enjoyable. In the major cities there are very good bus, tram and metro services, however for the foreigners who do not speak Arabic it might be easier to catch an air conditioned taxi!

Hiring a car

There are very good car hire facilities in Egypt, and you also have the option of hiring a car with a driver if you would prefer. The best thing to do is to agree on a fare before the driver gets into the car so when you get to the end of your journey there are no surprises to the cost!
